BUCKYVERSE

IMP-19 Referenced-Figures Batch 3 Implementation Plan

For agentic workers: REQUIRED SUB-SKILL: Use superpowers:executing-plans to implement this plan task-by-task. Steps use checkbox (- [ ]) syntax.

Goal: Create 10 entity-person pages (4 classical forebears + 6 art-world contemporaries) completing the IMP-16/17 Fuller relationship map.

Architecture: Reuse the Batch-2 page model verbatim. Add all 10 to fuller-people.md (92→102), update indexes (articles 223→233), add reciprocal See Also back-links.

Tech Stack: Markdown pages under .wiki/wiki/topics/, Python for registry/index regeneration and reciprocity verification.

Page template

Identical to the Batch-2 plan: frontmatter (title, category: topic, dates, relationship:, tags = entity-person + relationship-<type> + about-buckminster-fuller|fuller-adjacent + topic tags, aliases, confidence, volatility: cold, compiled-from: sources, summary), body # <Name> + one-line identity + description paragraph + ## Relationship to Fuller (prose [[r-buckminster-fuller|...]] link) + ## See Also (reciprocated figure↔work/person, not Fuller) + ## Sources (resolving anchor). Ground prose only in the capsule facts — no fabrication.

Per-figure capsules

  1. euclid — Greek mathematician (fl. c. 300 BCE), Elements. relationship: forebear. The geometry Fuller defined synergetics against: he rejected Euclid's dimensionless points, infinite planes, and 90°/180° abstractions in favor of an operational, 60°-coordinated, energy-event geometry (the corpus's subjectivity-in-mathematics discussion). Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: introduction-to-geometry, regular-polytopes, plato, archimedes. confidence medium.
  2. plato — Greek philosopher (c. 428–348 BCE). relationship: forebear. The five regular ("Platonic") solids are foundational to Fuller's polyhedral cosmology and synergetics; Plato's geometric account of the elements (the Timaeus demiurge) is the classical root of the form-of-nature thread Fuller extended. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: regular-polytopes, euclid, pythagoras. confidence medium.
  3. pythagoras — Greek philosopher-mathematician (c. 570–495 BCE). relationship: forebear. The number-and-form tradition — that reality is structured by ratio and geometry — is the deep ancestor of Fuller's conviction that nature is coordinated mathematically (the geometry-lineage sources around Coxeter). Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: introduction-to-geometry, plato, archimedes. confidence medium.
  4. archimedes — Greek mathematician (c. 287–212 BCE). relationship: forebear. The thirteen Archimedean (semiregular) solids Fuller drew on — above all the cuboctahedron he renamed the "vector equilibrium" — descend from Archimedes' catalog; a direct predecessor in Fuller's synergetic geometry. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: synergetics, introduction-to-geometry, euclid, pythagoras. confidence medium.
  5. robert-rauschenberg — American artist (1925–2008), Combines. relationship: contemporary. Studied at Black Mountain College, where Fuller taught in the summers of 1948–49 and built his first geodesic-dome experiments; a formative figure of the same experimental community. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: we-are-all-astronauts, josef-albers. confidence low.
  6. anni-albers — German-American textile artist (1899–1994). relationship: contemporary. Bauhaus-trained weaver who, with Josef Albers, taught at Black Mountain College in the community Fuller joined; a peer of that milieu. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: josef-albers, we-are-all-astronauts. confidence low.
  7. laszlo-moholy-nagy — Hungarian artist and Bauhaus master (1895–1946). relationship: contemporary. Founded the New Bauhaus / Institute of Design in Chicago, on whose faculty Fuller served — a direct institutional tie between Fuller and the Bauhaus program of integrating art and technology. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: josef-albers, john-cage, walter-gropius. confidence low.
  8. marcel-duchamp — French avant-garde artist (1887–1968). relationship: contemporary. Central figure of the readymade and of the Cage / Black Mountain avant-garde circle adjacent to Fuller in the corpus's art world. Tag fuller-adjacent. See Also: john-cage, we-are-all-astronauts. confidence low.
  9. walter-gropius — German architect (1883–1969), founder of the Bauhaus. relationship: contemporary. His art-and-technology program defined the modern design-education world Fuller worked within (and to which Moholy-Nagy carried the Bauhaus in America); a senior contemporary of Fuller's design generation. Tag fuller-adjacent. See Also: josef-albers, laszlo-moholy-nagy. confidence low.
  10. stan-vanderbeek — American experimental filmmaker (1927–1984). relationship: contemporary. His Movie-Drome — a geodesic dome as an immersive multimedia theater — drew directly on Fuller's dome as a medium; a contemporary who built on Fuller's structure. Tag about-buckminster-fuller. See Also: we-are-all-astronauts, john-cage. confidence low.

Within-batch See Also pairs (written into both new pages in Tasks 1–2, symmetric): euclid↔plato, euclid↔archimedes, plato↔pythagoras, pythagoras↔archimedes, laszlo-moholy-nagy↔walter-gropius.
